Loved your work with the Sox, Curt! And your assistance in getting recognition to our Vets is fantastic!

Regarding Band of Brothers, they ended up in the Bavarian and Austrian Alps, not the Swiss Alps!

One you read my co-authored illustrated history, "Old Hoodoo" The Battleship Texas, America's First Battleship (1895-1911) (see amazon.com for discription) you will understand what we are going to lose if the nation allows the 1892 cruiser USS Olympia to be scrapped or sunk as a reef. Visit the National Trust for Historic Preservation USS Olympia website. Time is running out for this still beautiful ship that needs major waterline hull repairs and a new home and very quickly. Don't give up the ship!!!.

Hi Curt, I am just starting to read a copy of Utmost Savagery
that my father gave me last week. It is signed by his friend Joe Alexander of 55 years. They were in Boy Scouts together and on staff together at Camp Ken-Etiwa-Pec in the 50's. They still keep in touch and I look forward to reading this book especially after your endorsement.

Best Regards,
Andy
