		<description>Sorry but you are wrong. Edson Raff commanded the 2nd Battalion 503rd PIR which was redesignated as part of the 509th PIR. Raff led the group into combat during Operation Torch to drop on airports in Algeria at La Senia and Tarafaoui and then later on at Youks Les Bains and the El Djem.  All in North Africa.</description>
