Blacks. Desperate to fill the ranks of its dwindling military, the CSA allowed freed slaves and others blacks to join the army. Several thousand ultimately fought for the Southern cause.
A lost causer must have wrote this one because it’s a lie that several thousand blacks fought for the south.
