1971. In September 1971, Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney, created Galaxy Game. The single stand-alone terminal was set up in the Tresidder Union at Stanford University. Computer Space, also invented by Bushnell and Dabney and released in November 1971, become the first mass-produced, coin-operated video game.
