Edward I. Also known as Edward Longshanks, he conducted two very successful military campaigns in Scotland and seized the Stone of Destiny on which Scottish kings had been crowned and took it to London. In his last battle in Scotland, Edward defeated William Wallace and had Wallace executed as a traitor.
