Emilie Helm. A half-sister to Lincoln’s wife, Mary Todd, Emilie was given the nickname “Little Sister” in the Todd family, and Lincoln reportedly used the term in reference to her. She married Benjamin Hardin Helm, who rose to the rank of brigadier general in the Confederate Army before being killed at Chickamauga.
