Shortly after the discovery of Queho's remains my father, Luke Whalen, a foreman on Boulder Dam, and some friends took me with them on a trip to Queho's cave. We drove southwest of Boulder City to the edge of the canyon, walked around Dry Falls (the big one, there was a small one north of the town dump) down to the river and south, then up to the cave. Nothing was left except some flashbulb wrappers, and two rust spots on the rock at the entrance, where his rifle and shotgun were leaned. As I recall a couple of the friends were members of the CCC's, Harry Allwine and Ivan Zuzek.. Not too long later one or both of them went off ro war. Queho's mummy was housed in a mock cave at Helldorado Village in Las Vegas for years.

This is incorrect:
Queho's corpse was buried in an unmarked grave in the public portion of the local cemetery.
Quehoe's body was finally buried at Cathedral Canyon in Nye County Nevada outside of Pahrump by Roland Wiley.
Further information can be found at Findagrave.com

On his marker his name is spelled Quehoe
