		<description>Those are not Marines, they are Confederate Militia wearing Revolutionary War style White cross belts.  No CS Marines at Bull Run, and, their uniform looked nothing like that.  Also, White cotton summer wear trousers were not uncommon.  The actual (Reenacted, of course) USMC are on the other side of the field, to the left, in the treeling.

		<description>Besides the heat, the reinactment was pretty worthless from a historical perspective.  The announcer rarely described what units you were seeing, who commanders were and gave a clear time line that mapped to real battle time.</description>

		<description>Very nice. A relief to find that when I looked for the photos they were actually there, I have not always been so lucky on this website.

Hope you will do as well by 1812 as we begin observance of the 200th anniversary on the Canadian border and the East coast next year.</description>
