(Img: National Archives) Panzer is a shortened term for Panzerkampfwagen, meaning “armored combat vehicle” or essentially, “tank.” There were six versions of the Panzer produced during the 1930s and 1940s. All six of the newly designed tanks were used by the Nazis during World War II. In this video, Panzers are used to fight Russians on the Eastern Front.
