But the atrocities we did to African American people and the Native American people is equally horrifying there is no say in whether either group of people had it worse. Many ethnic groups through out history were abused by the federal government and the truth behind it all is a deep racism that ran through out the whole country. All because someone looked different from the rest of the "normal" people they saw everyday, which therefore in many American minds proved that they were superior human beings.
