Thank you, Capt. Allen, from the bottom of my heart. No one ever wounded in Vietnam could ever express their gratitude enough for what you and your fellow nurses did. There are many vets walking around today that wouldn't be if it had not been for the courage you and others like you showed during that terrible war. God bless you.

having been exposed to malaria and being shot while in the nam, i thank all of y'all just for being there.
what can i say?
words are not enough to express my gratitude for helping and seeing me thru those times, i cherish each day that i have left, thanks to ladies/people like y'all, a lot of us would not be here today if it wasn't because of your dedication and service.
this article is great, but not as great as the person being profiled.
THANK YOU AND WELCOME HOME!!!!!!!!!!

Capt. Allen, Thank you for your service and Welcome Home!
I was a uniformed civilian (DAC) with U. S. Army Special Services, was stationed in CuChi in March-May, 1967 the same time you were and remember the mortar attacks vividly. I admire and honor your service as a nurse. I don't think I could do what you did. I read your chapter in \Women in Vietnam\ and quoted you in my book, \So, What's a Nice Girl Like You Doing in a Place Like This? Seoul to Saigon.\ I salute you.
