This CD-ROM for Macintosh and Windows is an ideal method for children aged nine and up to gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of American history. Colorful video clips, narrated stories, and 3-D graphics bring to life such topics as the Spanish exploration and settlement of North America, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, life in the old West, the early years of the automobile industry in Detroit, the woman suffrage movement, the World War II internment of Japanese-Americans, and the development of rock-and-roll music.
