Is any one force responsible for the Allied failure to liberate the Netherlands in Operation Market Garden, or is it more accurate to say the Germans won?
Perhaps better planning would have helped the allies in Holland. Also, better intelligence. The use of glidders to get more men on the ground killed about as many as they delivered. The allies took a beating from the Germans.
