I was once told 'learn your history or be made to relive it'. I think history is vastly important, and anyone who can bring themselves to show any form of support for his sort of people, should be made to endure what he put people through. These people are a disgrace to humanity, in my opinion on a par as the people who they are praising. However, once the shots started ringing out his wisdom in that regard went out the window. In that he was similar to Galeazzo Ciano, Mussolini's son-in-law and Foreign Minister. If Goering truly realized Hitler's dream was Germany's nightmare he had a moral obligation to kill the man. He didn't. Apparently enriching himself at the expense of others was more important. In the final analysis, Hermann Goering was a fat, murderous slob. Goering had the foresight to realize Hitler’s plans for war would end disastrously. However, once the shots started ringing out his wisdom in that regard went out the window. In that he was similar to Galeazzo Ciano, Mussolini’s son-in-law and Foreign Minister.

If Goering truly realized Hitler’s dream was Germany’s nightmare he had a moral obligation to kill the man. He didn’t. Apparently enriching himself at the expense of others was more important.
