I grew up in Hagerstown and have visited the Antietam Battlefield many, many times; I even picked up milk from a farm on the South side of the Battlefield. Every time I go there I find out something new. The sheer magnitude of the death and maiming that happened there in one single twenty four hour period is still overwhelming to me.
Good luck to you John in your retirement. Retirement ain't too bad if you kinda like not having to use an alarm clock any more. I seem to be doing pretty well at it.
