I am named after my father's uncle Richard who was a twin , served with/for Dolittle as a gunner. belly gunner. Did not turn out so well for him, when the landing gear doesn't come down the belly gunner gets it. I wonder if my great uncle was liked or disliked to have such a position in the service, Does anybody out there remember Belly Gunner Richard Conlon from WWll serving with Doolittle please contact me at; rockinricktrio@gmail.com

May I recommend Gen. Doolittle's autobiography, "I Could Never Be So Lucky Again"? It will give you some insight into this man's fine mind.
