WHEN VISITING

A permanent exhibition on the Blitz is displayed at the Imperial War Museum, London. Visitors walk through a mock-up of aLondon street, and experience what it would have been like to be in London during a Second World War bombing raid.

The Imperial War Museum, whose collection is devoted to all aspects of the British and Commonwealth armed conflicts, issituated on Lambeth Road, London SE1 6HZ. Tel: 071 416 5000.

Admission to the museum is ?3.70 for adults, ?2.65 for senior citizens and ?1.85 for children.

Hours of opening are: Daily, except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day, from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
