		<description>Thank you for a fascinating discussion on Civil War writings. I totally agree with you that if it accurately represents what occurred in history then it should never be omitted. The truth may hurt, may embarras but it is the truth. I also am not sure how many Americans even know about the vote the House of representatives took to omit reading passages of the Constitution . I would be interested in seeing a poll of how many Americans know about this and what they think of this. Respectfully Ronald Oberman. I would also be interested in what Dr. Holzer feels about the alternative histories written by Harry Turtledove and Newt Gingrich.</description>
