Also quote that when reading facts like these, make sure to compare with books and other trusted websites if the data is altered or changed. That way you're making sure you have more accurate data (pick out the more important facts which you compare, if you have to compare every single sentence you'll be busy for weeks).

I agree, despite the battles having accurred, nonetheless the data is extremely inaccurate and has been twisted by personal interests and comments.

You obviously do seem to know a lot about Charles XII and his compaign but have sadly enough put personal thoughts into the story making it inaccurate (where did you get your data from? For as far as I know most books don't contain exact numbers of troops, especially because it looks like you've been throwing random numbers out there).

Also, you have favored the victories of Charles XII by a LOT so it sounds as if he won those battles easily.

Charles XII was unpredictable and rushed his decisions, this being in fact because he was very young of age, and suprized other more experienced opponents through that. But there is no doubt he was a good leader when it came to combat, but comparing RULING his empire with EXPANDING it, he has been slacking off badly (which is the reason why, at the time, most of the swedish population disliked Charles) simply leaving the ruling to his subjects.

Sweden would probably today have been a lot bigger if Charles had focused on strenghtening his captured land rather than expanding it more and more making it more stable.

Wow one of the most onesided and inacurate representations of the time period I have encountared up to date. The author, who's obviously in love with Charles and his legacy has done minimal research and even twisted some of the facts personalizing and interpreting some of Charles' tactics and dissisions from purely peculatory point of view. According to the article Charles turns out to be a martyr against whom everyone in Europe unjustly conspired. It seems he won every battle with his superior tactics but somehow lost the whole was because nature itself turned against poor Charles.
Although Charles was a great strategist of his time he nevertheless has made a number foolish and irrational dissisions which led to co plete anihilation of his forces at poltava which trumpeted the end of swedish domination in western-central Europe.
