It includes two U.S. Senators and two U.S. Representatives from states where Lincoln lived, wrote legislation and practiced law. A resident of Dunwoody, Dr. Zainaldin has been president of the Georgia Humanities Council since 1997. Previously he served as president of the Washington-based Federation of State Humanities Councils. He also worked as deputy director of the American Historical Association and has taught history and law at Case Western Reserve University , Georgetown University and Emory University . Dr. Zainaldin holds a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. in History from the University of Chicago . He attended Warner Robins High School in Georgia .
