		<description>Interesting article here about taking the law into ones own hands.  The old vigilante&#039;s warning: 3-7-77, the dimensions of the grave that rustlers would be lying in is one of my favourite items of Western lore.  I wonder if there is any truth to it?

I&#039;d suggest Warren Olofson&#039;s &quot;Frontier Cattle Ranching&quot;, (2004) which takes a borderlands approach to Norther Great Plains ranching history, and suggests that the idea that the American West was Wild and the Canadian West as well-policed and orderly is in need of revision.</description>
