I agree that all of the above have made a significant and positive contribution to my quality of life. To those I would have to add three, without which my life would have been poorer. First, in line with what Richard chose, I'd have to include the CD. (Damn I hated phonograph records!) And, on a medical front, I'd have to add the birth control pill and laperoscopc surgery.
