I have a newspaper clipping showing Hawks and the plane at time of the event. As can be seen from the rest of my website, I believe this "new Sperry automatic pilot" was the new technology my father invented, which was different from the gyro technology of the sperry automatic pilot (see photo & website: http://www.debeeson.com/untoldstory/gammarobot.JPG .
