These are the same person. Some sources attribute James Allen Zachary to be the father of Peter Zachary. They were in fact brothers. Both sons of James Zachary b. 1782 Virginia married to Mary Allen. Fount Zachary was the son of Peter Zachary. Likewise Peter was married to a Huddleston which would explain some of the animosity between the Zacharys and Ferguson.
