		<description>Being a dummy from Bly, Oregon, I didn&#039;t know a lot about the civil war until I was stationed at Fort Lee, Virginia at the end of the Korean war. I lived in Petersburg and really got into the historic battleffields in the area. I had a lot of free time as I was in the entertainment branch so spent much of it touring the area. I didn&#039;t have much to live on those days with a wife and kid but my old &#039;53 VW was cheap to run.
Would love to visit the area again. I am glad they are preserving the area.
