Ambition, Pragmatism, and Party: A Political Biography of Gerald R. Ford by Scott Kaufman.

Kaufman’s book clearly portrays Jerry Ford and the honest pragmatism that drove him. Robertson Dean reads it masterfully.  In a calm voice—not unlike Ford’s own—Dean conveys the best biography so far of the 38th president, presented by Kaufman as a principled man true to his party.

Read by Robertson Dean, with the recording produced by Tantor Media.
