The North committed THOUSANDS of horrible acts against Southern civilians all through the war and didn't think a thing about it. They openly starved women and children, destroyed and stole private property, and bragged openly about it. Their treatment of southern pow's still lives in infamy. The events that have happened in Iraq, etc are CHILD'S PLAY compared to what these fine "Americans" did to their fellow citizens. The South is STILL being victimized, mocked, and ridiculed on a daily basis by the Federal government and these northern cretins. If these Yankees had stayed home and minded their own business, none of this would have happened to them. They get no sympathy from me. Horney Toad is 100% right.
