When the Civil War broke out, many boys thought that going off to war would be an exciting adventure. In fact, the writer Stephen Currie says that some of these boys were under the age of eleven. Instead of turning these young volunteers into soldiers, the armies of theNorth and the South used them as musicians, especially as drummer boys. (Student model) Hope this helps Summer Brianne.

I am a teacher and I am analyzing with the students a research paper model about "The difficult job of a civil war drummer boy." My students are learning about the skill words, such as thesis statement, evidence, multiple sources, paraphrase, quotes, and credit sources. What about you? What are you learning?

Hi! My name is Summer Brianne Boyd i`m learning about the Civil War right now i`m getting ready to see who the drummer boy is. Do you know who the drummer boy is in the Civil War is? I`m online right now to try to figure out who it is. The reason i`m doing it because is that my teacher Mrs. Tracie Kile is reading this book to my class and the book is called Civil War On Wedsney.
