In 1970 I attended Michigan State University in East Lansing Michigan. My friend and room mate Steve was taking a psychology class from a famous Japanese professor. He was famous in his field. Most of his students knew he had been a Kamikaze pilot in WWII. Steve said that at one class someone worked up the courage to ask the big question. The question was how did you survive the war and what were you thinking? He said the war ended before he had to fly. What they were thinking? He replyed that they were "nuts."
