May he rest in peace,

And may perpetual light shine upon him.

Why do people join if war is against their beliefs, why do those who believe stealing is wrong live among a land of thieves ? Why do those that live right live in a land of those who don't ? There are those who choose to save life, those who choose to show the possibilities. Those who go against - "well everybody does it".

The author has erred when he said Tom Bennet was the only conscientious objector who won the Medal of Honor during Viet Nam. Spc 4 Joseph G. LaPointe Jr, also a medic, won it also. Truly another American hero, patriot, and a true Christian. May they both rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Tom Pokladowski

I first read about Tom in the VFW magazine. As I researched his story I was truly amazed. Thomas Bennett was a true American, a true patriot, and above all a true Christian. God bless his family. Sleep well Tom.
Sincerely,
Tom Pokladowski

Sir, It appears to me that most of the above artical about Tom Bennett was actually written by Bonni McKeown, author of PEACEFUL PATRIOT, The Story of Tom Bennett. Where is the credit?Bob Miller, (Tom's uncle)
