WoW is all I can say. This is my gggrandfather William H Mcgill. I have a picture of him after the war with his wife. It is him,if you would like to see it I can mail it to you to confirm that it is him.

    Janet Davie says:

Your gggrandfather was the older brother of my ggrandfather, Christopher. I was hoping there was a picture of your grandfather here but didn't find him.

Also wondering if you have figured out the puzzle of their genealogy. I am stuck at 1810. Wm H McGill, Sr, born about 1810, died between 1850 and 1860 of complications of measles. Some think it goes back to Patrick McGill but his son was William Perry McGill who died in 1847.

    Jane Davis says:

I'm researching the McGill's of Pennsylvania. My grandmother was Nancy Jane McGill and her children's names lead me to believe there is a connection with William Perry McGill. One child was named Perry and another one William. Nancy married George Kepler.
